The wrist stretches below will give your wrists some love. They especially feel good after days filled with texting, typing and driving.


Inside Wrist Stretch

From table pose (on hands and knees),

  • Place the hands flat on the floor with the fingertips pointing toward the knees
  • Slightly bend the elbows back toward the knees
  • Lean hips back toward the heels until you feel sensation in wrists/forearms but not pain


Outside Wrist Stretch

From table pose (on hands and knees),

  • Place the back of the hands flat on the floor with the fingers pointing toward each other
  • Slightly bend elbows
  • Open and spread the fingers
  • Close the fingers and thumbs into a fist
  • Repeat several times


Wrist Circles

From any seated or standing position,

  • Interlace fingers together and squeeze elbows together
  • Roll wrists in circles
  • Switch directions
  • Repeat several times
