This Prenatal Yoga for the First Trimester - Recognize and Reset class will focus on welcoming and accepting the changes that are occurring during the first trimester, recognizing how the body and mind are feeling during this time, and resetting your yoga practice to invite change as the belly begins to grow. This class is designed for both beginners or individuals who want to learn how to make adjustments to their practice as they move along the pregnancy journey.
This is a Level 1 class.
Denesia D. Rodgers’ yoga journey began in 2013 when she was looking for healing and strength to combat her life long struggle with scoliosis. She completed her Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) through Yoga District in 2020 and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) at the 200-hour level through Yoga Alliance. Denesia has a strong desire to bring the practice of yoga to various communities of people since yoga has been a huge part of her path to healing. Denesia’s teaching offerings are based on foundational, alignment, breathing, and relaxation. Her classes are based in the vinyasa flow tradition, with a focus on the breath, alignment, strength building, and accessibility. She specializes in prenatal, postnatal, chair yoga, vinyasa and hatha style yoga for all levels. Denesia believes that everyone should have a chance and opportunity to learn the beneficial techniques yoga has to offer.
